An aerial photo looking east over the top of Ramscombe in Great Wood. The end of the conifer plantation at the top of the combe (nearest camera) is known as ‘Barrs Bottom’ but nobody knows why! The Crowcombe / Stowey road and the Wilmot’s Pool parking area are on the left. The strip of land between the conifers( and the road and from the top to the bottom of the photo) is part of the ‘Over Stowey Custom Common’.
