“Kilton Cottages” were four cottages, in Portway, built for agricultural labourers on a strip of land which led from the main part of Kilton parish up into the hills. Thus, although in the village of Holford, they were actually (originally) in the parish of Kilton. New bungalows were built on this site in about 2001.
