‘St Audries Avenue’ which led from St Audries House up to the main road (A39). The trees were felled in 1925. The wall along the north side of the A39 can be seen on the right and the avenue led up to “Stowey Lodge”, a gate house which still exists next to the entrance to St Audries Holiday Homes.
