Looking east along the A39 towards Kilve. The house in the foreground is now (2018) called “Quantock Haven” and the bungalow to the left is “The Rest”. The garage is about 100 metres behind the photographer.
The Windmill Tearooms have gone.Behind the telegraph pole and above the roof of “Quantock Haven” the Vinnicombe Quarry spoil heap can be seen, with a pale access track curving up around it.
Note the number of wires on the telegraph pole.
